ABOUT US

STUDIO LUPAS is a GbR consisting of two experts and partners, Anne and Sophie-Therese Lupas. At the beginning under different employers, from 2015 to 2019 together at HUGO BOSS AG in Metzingen, we have been working for many years in the field of 3D virtualization of fashion.

Our responsibilities have ranged from creating digital clothing to project management, training others in the use of 3D software, leading a group of 3D artists, evaluating programs and creating data sets for research.

In 2019 we started our own business under the name STUDIO LUPAS as consultants and trainers for 3D in the apparel industry to bundle our competences and make them available to others. With practice-oriented training and 3D fashion as a service we respond individually to the needs of our customers and offer them the best experience around 3D in apparel in the highest quality.

In the portraits below we introduce ourselves individually to give you a better picture of the people behind the brand name. Should any questions remain unanswered, we look forward to hearing from you.

SOPHIE LUPAS

Sophie-Therese Lupas is a graduate fashion designer and CLO3D trainer from Tübingen. She completed her fashion design studies at the IADE in Madrid in 2013. After her return to Germany she worked as a computational tailor and experimental coordinator at the renowned Max Planck Institute for Perceiving Systems in Tübingen. The focus of the work was on 3D scanning of human bodies, their animation and clothing in Optitex. In 2015 Sophie started her employment at HUGO BOSS in the pattern design department. From 2016 she worked for HUGO BOSS AG in Metzingen as a 3D artist and supported colleagues from different departments with digital clothing and training in CLO3D, one of the most popular 3D software applications in the clothing industry.

Since 2019 she has been working, together with her partner Anne Lupas, as a freelancer for 3D in apparel at STUDIO LUPAS GbR.

ANNE

LUPAS

Anne Lupas is a graduate engineer of architecture and 3D artist from Berlin. During her studies she worked with the 3D software Autodesk 3DS Max and used it to present her own projects. After completing her studies in 2010, she worked as a designer and interior designer for Shenzhen Ruihe in China. After her return back to Germany, she studied at the Cimdata Academy and obtain the degree of 3D Artist. From 2013 to 2019 she worked at HUGO BOSS AG and took on a role as "Team Leader 3D Virtualization" at the headquarters in Metzingen.

Since 2019 she has been working, together with her partner Sophie Lupas, as a freelancer for 3D clothing at STUDIO LUPAS GbR.
